NEW YORK - June 7, 2022 - (Newswire.com)

The Private Risk Management Association (PRMA), a nonprofit educational organization for risk management professionals in the insurance industry, has announced today that Diane Delaney will serve as its new executive director.

With more than 16 years in the industry, Delaney was the Head of Sales Training & Events at AIG before accepting her new position with PRMA. She replaces Lisa Lindsay, who has led the organization since 2015. Lindsay was instrumental in establishing PRMA and PRMA Academy, and she played a key role in developing The Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) certificate, the only online certification program specifically designed for professionals in the high net worth industry. Lindsay will remain with PRMA in an Education Advisor role to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

"I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to serve PRMA and its members, and I'm excited to welcome Diane on board as executive director," said Lindsay. "Diane brings extensive experience, enthusiasm and excitement to an industry that can be complex, but she always finds a way to inspire and motivate. She's committed to leading from the future, and her dedication to educating professionals in the industry makes her an excellent choice," added Lindsay.

Delaney's experience includes overseeing AIG Private Client Group's exclusive high net worth sales school, PCG-University (PCG-U). She has led numerous academic insight sessions for PRMA members, ranging from sales and new client acquisitions to managing careers in a virtual world. "I'm honored to serve as executive director and look forward to helping PRMA expand its educational offerings, increase chapter outreach and grow its membership," said Delaney. "Our goal remains to empower, elevate and educate our community so that we may offer the best solutions to the clients we serve," added Delaney.

Delaney will serve alongside an 18-member board who are all volunteers committed to carrying out the mission of PRMA. In addition to her position, the PRMA board elected Bryant Kolle as president-elect. Kolle is the senior manager of agency sales with Hagerty. He will succeed Jason Ott, president of Aon Risk Management, in 2023 and serve as president for two years. The board also selected Gary Pasternack, a founding trustee who serves as the head of insurance advisory at Bessemer Trust, as board member emeritus. He is only the fifth person to hold the position.
