K-Green Foundation (chairman Yeol Choi) and DeNations (CEO Moonsoo Kim) inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on May 23 at the Rachel Carson Hall. This MOU was signed for the purpose of fundraising for Eco Campus by utilizing DeNations' Metaverse. Through this, the K-Green Foundation will own one of the Meta Lands in DeNations.

DeNations' metaverse is the world's first nations-based metaverse, which currently has 195 nation NFTs inspired by real-world nations. In the metaverse, players can own nations, build civilizations, and earn tokens.

DeNations' land is where citizens live, collect resources, and discover treasure NFTs. There are in total 390,000 unique lands in DeNations metaverse. They can later become territories of the nations and get infrastructure support from the nations. Furthermore, the users of DeNations can collect special resources on K-Green Foundation's Meta Land to create exclusive NFTs related to the foundation and Eco Campus.

K-Green Foundation was established in 2022 as the first foundation to specialize in environmental issues. The foundation aims to develop a sustainable system for the Earth by cooperating with the government, corporations, and society. With the slogan of 'Green Leader Changes the World', the foundation has nurtured about 5,000,000 global green leaders, thereby promoting a global environmental movement.

DeNations started their first land mint on June 2. Currently, the first 2 rounds of "USA" land opening are all minted and sold out. Starting from "USA" lands, DeNations will be making the next step towards minting "East Asia" for the upcoming rounds. Details on this will be updated on DeNations' Twitter and Discord channels.
