Honda, LG to Invest Over $4 Billion in US EV Battery Plant

Honda and LG Energy Solution (LGES) announced today plans to invest $4.4 billion in a new electric vehicle battery plant in the U.S.; the new plant will produce lithium-ion batteries in the U.S. to power Honda and Acura EV models in North America.
