1, loading the pipette tip: single-channel pipette sleeve handle force down, when needed, a small rotation can be.  Wrong operation: Tap the pipette tip with force. This method will bring damage to the pipette tip and even wear the pipette sleeve handle, thus affecting its sealing.  

2. Range setting: Select the correct pipette range before operation. When adjusting the range from a small range to a large range, rotate the pipette continuously in the direction of the desired range, and return it to the desired range when it reaches more than one-third of the desired range. When adjusting from large range to small range, rotate directly and consistently to the required range.  

3、Wetting: viscous liquid can be pre-wetted by the tip to achieve accurate pipetting, first inhale the sample liquid, hit, the inner wall of the tip will adsorb a layer of liquid, so that the surface adsorption to saturation, and then inhale the sample liquid, and finally hit the volume of liquid will be very accurate. Repeat aspiration and drainage two to three times with the same sample, and wetting provides the same contact surface for each subsequent aspiration to ensure the consistency of operation. For normal temperature samples, tip rinsing helps to improve the accuracy; however, for high temperature or low temperature samples, tip rinsing reduces the accuracy of operation, please pay special attention to the user.  

4、Tip immersion angle: Try to keep the vertical state when absorbing liquid, the tilt angle should not exceed 20°.  

5、Tip immersion time: keep the tip in the liquid surface for one second after aspiration and then remove the tip gently, which is especially important for large-capacity pipettes or aspiration of viscous samples.  

6, aspiration speed: uniform and consistent pipetting, control the pipetting speed, too fast will cause a spray of liquid, liquid or aerosol into the internal pipette, contamination of the piston and other components.  

7, drainage and blowing liquid: first press the piston to the first gear to drain the liquid, and then press to the second gear for blowing liquid after a slight pause. Drain the liquid in four ways: above the liquid level, on the surface of the liquid, below the liquid level, and along the inner wall.  

8, hand temperature: single-channel pipettes should not be held in the hand for a long time, when not in use, it is best to hang it on the bracket or hang it in the hand to dry.
