Visitors can come to the John Natsoulas Gallery in Davis, California for an exciting opportunity to see some of the premier paintings by a fantastic group of landscape artists who expertly capture the beauty of this state. Whether it's a bustling cityscape by Kati Thomson or an idyllic countryside by Spring Warren, these paintings offer viewers a chance to experience California through a new and inspiring lens. The exhibition will be open from June 28 to August 26. The opening reception will be on July 14 at 7:00 PM, and it will feature free music and refreshments.

The tradition of landscape painting in California is rich and steeped in history. The John Natsoulas Gallery is so pleased to host the newest exhibition of recent and historic landscapes by the premier landscape artists from California. This lively exhibition will feature some of the stunning vistas from this state as well as more intimate scenes that delight the fancy. This exhibition will highlight the diverse ways in which these painters capture bustling cities, arid plains, verdant gardens, and brilliant sunsets. Each artist approaches these subjects with a keen eye and a distinctive style, yet they all capture a special beauty.
An ancillary exhibition of prints by the great Sacramento landscape artist Gregory Kondos will serve as a powerful complement and beautiful addition. He captures the Golden State with his signature use of color and abstraction. Some of these lithographs include: the Half Dome in Yosemite, the Delta in Sacramento, and the historical Rosenberg Farm.
